The deep listening and wise advice that the Samara team offered to us were invaluable gifts in our times of great fear and confusion. They provided our family with needed context and direction when we were in times of overwhelm and struggle. Thank you, from the depths of my heart!!

Guiding a teen to wellness can be an overwhelming process for parents: managing daily challenges...time and attention demands on top of work...the emotional toll of uncertainty and frequent chaos...the complexity of navigating choices, services and support. Parents feel overtaxed and under resourced, adding unnecessary stress to an already challenging time.

When you’re struggling and don’t know where to turn, we provide direction about what’s happening and what to do to begin healing today.

When you’re ready to make the investment to intervene in your child’s life and change the course of what’s happening, we’re here to support you.

We focus on care and complex service coordination, interventions design and implementation, systems advocacy, and pre-residential diversions.

Skill-Building and Coaching

We use a positive, trauma-informed, strengths-based process to help your teen and family heal.  Our approach: practical skill building to increase family harmony and improve decision-making.

We help you stop shaming and blaming...and start naming and framing.

We’ve learned that helping teens discover what is whole and precious within them, not broken or bad, is an effective way to help teens re-engage with their best self and find a healthy road back to self-esteem and motivation.

By shifting focus toward their inherent unique gifts, talents, skills, and interests, we guide each family member to build motivation for and engagement with the healing process.  Combined with coaching families about effective boundaries and agreements, we help you build the road back to the family you’ve hoped for.

We focus on helping you practice skills, not simply talk about them, so that you learn to use new tools to make new choices, and build new habits.  We create a nest of wellness for your family at home by providing in-home training and mentoring.

And we’ve built a comprehensive, custom-develop curriculum that provides you access to the best science has to offer for learning how to thrive in every aspect of your family’s lives. We use industry best practices to track and assess your family’s growth and daily tracking to ensure your family is making progress towards life goals.
